It’s that time of year again. WMBF has started taking nominations for their Best of the Grand Strand contest. Carolina Trust has been honored to be named Best Bank for the past three years in a row and hope to make it FOUR with your help. Votes are cast via email address so that you can send in one nomination for Carolina Trust as Best Bank, per email address, per day. Only the top five nominees will move on to the official voting round, so nominations are super important. The nomination period will end on 4/17 at the end of the day and the official voting round will begin on 5/9.

Celebrate National Credit Union Youth Month this April to help promote lifelong healthy money habits. The official theme for this year’s National Credit Union Youth Month is “Save Small. Dream Big. at your credit union™, and one day you may have enough to fulfill a financial dream! ” This theme makes saving for the future fun and encourages younger members to create financial dreams and work hard to see them through.
Youth Month serves as a great annual opportunity to engage with our young members and show them that Carolina Trust is here to help them throughout their financial journey.

Purses with Purpose

Miss Myrtle Beach/ Miss Grand Strand Pageant
Carolina Trust employees and friend to the credit union, Dr. Jessica Greene, enjoyed the Miss Myrtle Beach/Miss Grand Strand Pageant. It is so exciting to have this scholarship opportunity brought back to the Grand Strand after ten long years and the title winners will be encouraged to engage with local businesses and promote their platforms.

International Women's Day Luncheon
In honor of International Women's Day, Carolina Trust sponsored a local Women's Day luncheon. The luncheon was attended by over 200 women in the community and had several motivational speakers give presentations.
