Carolina Trust Federal Credit Union Proudly Announces Its Recent Project with Coastal Carolina University’s Community and Business Engagement Institute
Carolina Trust Federal Credit Union is proud to announce its recent project with the Coastal Carolina University Community and Business Engagement (CoBE) Institute.
The CoBE Institute is an associate-led professional organization that bridges the gap between business theory and workplace experience by pairing high-achieving students with real-world business-consulting projects.
Individuals selected as CoBE Associates receive intensive training, professional development, and first-class mentoring as they prepare for careers in today’s fast-paced and rapidly evolving business world while providing high-quality solutions to valued business clients.
Carolina Trust was honored to be the CoBE Institutes first Financial Institution client.
“We engaged the Community and Business Engagement Institute, or CoBe to research a project for Carolina Trust FCU. The work the students provided was impressive and would have cost thousands to hire a company to perform the same level of work,” said Tim Carlisle, Carolina Trust President/CEO. This kind of innovativeness is what is needed to draw in new enterprises to boost the local economy and improve the quality of life in our community.”
In addition to the project partnership, the credit union also donated one thousand dollars to assist in the program’s growth and future endeavors.

WMBF Best of the Grand Strand
It’s that time of year again. WMBF has started taking nominations for their Best of the Grand Strand contest. We'd love for you to nominate Carolina Trust Federal Credit Union as BEST BANK/MORTGAGE company on the Grand Strand.
Votes are cast via email address so that you can send in one nomination for Carolina Trust as Best Bank, per email address, per day. Only the top five nominees will move on to the official voting round, so nominations are super important. The nomination period will end on 4/17 at the end of the day and the official voting round will begin on 5/9.

Celebrate National Credit Union Youth Month this April to help promote lifelong healthy money habits. The official theme for this year’s National Credit Union Youth Month is “Unleash the Power of Saving at your credit union™.” This theme makes saving for the future fun and encourages younger members to create financial dreams and work hard to see them through.
Youth Month serves as a great annual opportunity to engage with our young members and show them that Carolina Trust is here to help them throughout their financial journey.
