Carolina Trust is proud to welcome Dr. Marvin Keene to the Board of Directors.Dr. Keene brings more than two decades of experience in higher education, finance, entrepreneurship, and community leadership.Originally from Brooklyn, New York, Dr. Keene earned a Bachelor of Science in Applied Economics from Florida State University in 1999 before completing his Ph.D. in Finance in 2004.

Carolina Trust Federal Credit Union Awards Director with Emeritus Status
Carolina Trust recently awarded David F. Honeycutt with Board of Director Emeritus Status.
Honeycutt holds a B.S. Degree in Business Administration/Marketing from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He served in the United States Air Force for 27 years before retiring as Colonel in 1993.

Surfside Beach Sweep
Carolina Trust employees helped to keep our beaches beautiful by volunteering in the Surfside Beach Sweep.
New Directions Shelter Donation
Carolina Trust team members donated some much-needed supplies to the New Directions of Horry County men's shelter. With summer being one of their busiest seasons, the organization still has an urgent need for toilet paper and 55–60-gallon trash bags.
If you would like to donate, they ask that you please drop off these supplies at the shelter located at 1005 Osceola St. Myrtle Beach, double glass doors; Monday-Thursday 9 am - 4 pm.

The federal government has ended penny production, and the Federal Reserve is gradually reducing penny distribution as inventory declines. You may notice fewer pennies available in circulation.
To support this transition:
When cashing checks, we will ask members to deposit any change into their accounts.
If you are a non‑member cashing a check that requires providing change, we may not be able to cash your check due to limited coin availability.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate this nationwide change.
