In Memory of Roosevelt Scott
Our thoughts are with the family of Mr. Roosevelt Scott, who passed away on Thursday, December 10th.
Mr. Scott was such a staple to the Hemingway community in the way that he brought people together through his famous BBQ. I am so grateful for the opportunity to have met Mr. Scott over the summer for WTBW News 13 Living Local Carolina. Although we were there to try out Mr. Scott's famous BBQ, it was his personality and love for his family that made him so captivating.
It's the most wonderful time of the year, well for most people anyway. For some folks, the holidays bring about a lot of added stress and financial burden, which is why it's the perfect time to give back. If you're fortunate enough to have a little extra money this year, there are lots of ways that you can help those in need. If you're not in a place to give financially, there are still many ways to give back that don't cost a dime. Either way, I guarantee that giving back to others this holiday season will help you get into the spirit and remember the true reason why we celebrate.

Holiday Skip A Pay
To help provide some holiday relief after the holidays, you may choose to skip your Carolina Trust loan payment during January 2021 for just $25.00.*
*The $25 fee must be received before the payment date will be changed. I understand by electing to participate in the Holiday Skip-A-Payment Program, interest will continue to accrue on my outstanding principal balance at the contractual interest rate, and the term of my loan may be extended. All terms and conditions will remain the same, but the final payment or maturity date of my loan may be different because of my Holiday Skip-A-Payment. I understand that the terms of any Credit Life and/or Disability Insurance coverage, GAP, Extended Warranty, or any other payment collateral protection coverages purchased in connection with the original obligation will not be extended for the additional term provided with this authorization. Modified loans, mortgage loans, home equity loans or lines of credit, previously modified loan, personal line of credit and VISA Credit Card payments are not eligible. The loan must not have been delinquent in the past twelve months and must be open for at least 6 months. Other restrictions may apply.
