Carolina Trust Federal Credit Union Proudly Appoints System Administrator
Carolina Trust Federal Credit Union is pleased to welcome Tracey Grisez to the position of System Administrator.
Tracey comes to Carolina Trust with over ten years of experience in Information Technology.
He is looking forward to bringing his extensive knowledge and experience in Information Technology to Carolina Trust and being an integral part of serving our Members and Team Members.

Carolina Trust Federal Credit Union Continues Sponsorship of the West Zone at the Myrtle Beach Bowl Game
Carolina Trust was the proud sponsor of the West Zone again at the 2025 Myrtle Beach Bowl Game. The 6th Annual Myrtle Beach Bowl featured Western Michigan University and Kennesaw State University and took place at Brooks Stadium on December 19, 2025. This postseason competition features matchups from three conference partners – Conference USA, Mid-American Conference (MAC), and Sun Belt Conference.
“The Myrtle Beach Bowl is a great addition to our community’s sports tourism, and I’m honored that Carolina Trust can play a part in expanding that through our sponsorship for years to come,” said Tim Carlisle, Carolina Trust President/CEO.

Scholarships
Carolina Trust actively demonstrates the credit union philosophy People Helping People in the communities we serve. We are honored to partner with several organizations to provide deserving students with financial assistance to achieve their higher education goals.
We're proud to announce that Carolina Trust will partner with the Carolinas Credit Union Foundation for the Carolina Trust Federal Credit Union Community Service Scholarship ($5,000) and the Carolina Trust Federal Credit Union Legacy Scholarship ($5,000) again this year.
In addition, Carolina Trust Federal Credit Union and HTC have partnered to offer two scholarship awards to local graduating high school seniors who wish to continue their education at either Coastal Carolina University (CCU) or Francis Marion University (FMU). Two $5,000 scholarships will be awarded to rising college freshmen seeking a four-year degree from CCU or FMU.
For the eighth year, Carolina Trust is proud to assist with the annual Santa's Village Toy Drive. As part of our partnership, we accepted toy donations for the program at our Horry County branches. Additionally, we donated gift cards, which were given to older children and used to purchase gifts on children's wish lists. We want to thank everyone for their help in providing families in the Grand Strand with a wonderful Christmas.
Beach Ball Classic and United Bank Holiday Invitational
Carolina Trust was a proud sponsor of the 45th Annual Beach Ball Classic and the 27th Annual United Bank Holiday Invitational. These tournaments bring in the finest high school basketball teams from around the country to compete for the coveted Championship Trophy while entertaining thousands of citizens from the Grand Strand Community and beyond.
Holiday Skip-A-Pay
To help provide some holiday relief, you may choose to skip your Carolina Trust loan payment during January 2026 for just $30.00*. Interest will continue to accrue on a skipped loan payment and other restrictions may apply.
*The $30 fee must be received before payment date will be changed. By electing to participate in the Holiday Skip-A-Payment Program, interest will continue to accrue on the outstanding principal balance at the contractual interest rate of the loan, and the term of the loan may be extended. All terms and conditions will remain the same, but the final payment or maturity date of the loan may be different because of the Holiday Skip-A-Payment. The terms of any Credit Life and/or Disability Insurance Coverage, GAP, Extended Warranty, or any other payment collateral protection coverages purchased in connection with the original obligation will not be extended for the additional term provided with this authorization. Modified loans, mortgage loans, home equity loans or lines of credit, previously modified loan, personal line of credit and VISA Credit Card payments are not eligible. If it is a joint loan, both signatures are required before it is reviewed for approval. The loan must not have been delinquent 60 or more days more than twice in the past twelve months and must be open for at least 6 months. Other restrictions may apply.
Important Tax Information
Under recent federal law changes, interest paid on certain new vehicle loans may be deductible on your federal income tax return for tax years 2025–2028, even if you claim the standard deduction. To qualify, the vehicle must be new, purchased for personal use, and meet other IRS requirements. Please consult IRS guidance or a tax professional for details. We will provide an annual statement of interest paid as required by law.
