Our branch locations are currently open and operating during normal business hours. If you plan to stop by a branch, protective masks are recommended, and member appointments are highly encouraged since lobby capacity may be limited to ensure social distancing. The Child Tax Credit will help many families get advance payments of the credit starting this summer. The IRS will pay half the total credit amount in advance monthly payments beginning July 15. You will claim the other half when you file your 2021 income tax return. These changes apply to tax year 2021 only. Click here for more information on the Child Tax Credit.

Carolina Trust Federal Credit Union has been awarded on the Forbes list of America’s Best-In-State Credit Unions 2021. This prestigious award is presented by Forbes and Statista Inc., the world-leading statistics portal and industry ranking provider. The awards list was announced on June 24th, 2021 and can currently be viewed on the Forbes website.
Forbes and Statista identified America’s Best-In-State Credit Unions 2021 based on an independent survey of approximately 25,000 US consumers who were asked to rate credit unions at which they have or previously have had checking accounts. Participants made recommendations regarding overall satisfaction; they also assessed banks in the following areas: Trust, Terms & Conditions, Branch Services, Digital Services, Customer Service, and Financial Advice.
Carolina Trust Federal Credit Union Receives Best of the Grand Strand Awards
Carolina Trust Federal Credit Union was recently named Best in Banking in the WMBF Best of the Grand Strand Contest for the third year in a row. They were also named Best Mortgage Company.
This annual contest was created by WMBF News in 2014, as a way for those in our area to nominate and vote for their favorite businesses along the Grand Strand and recognize those businesses as the best, based on WMBF’s viewers. It has grown to include 6 main categories, food, entertainment, shopping, home improvement, professional services and health and beauty. There are over 100 subcategories under those main 6.
