Carolina Trust is pleased to welcome AJ Fischer to the position of Vice President Controller.
Fischer comes to Carolina Trust from Monroe County Community College in Monroe, Michigan, where he held the position of Director of Financial Services. He is a graduate of The University of Findlay with a master’s degree in Business Administration.

Carolina Trust Brand Ambassador Graduates from Leadership Grand Strand
Carolina Trust Brand Ambassador, August, more commonly known to members as Always, August ®, recently graduated from the 42nd Class of Leadership Grand Strand.
Leadership Grand Strand is a 10-month program sponsored by the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce to develop a corps of informed, committed, and qualified individuals capable of providing dynamic leadership for the Grand Strand area.

2022 Key Scholarship
Two Area Students Receive Key Scholarship Award
For the sixteenth year, Carolina Trust Federal Credit Union and Horry Telephone Cooperative, Inc. (HTC) chose two graduating high school seniors to win $1,000 each in scholarship awards. High school seniors from Horry, Georgetown, Marion, Williamsburg, and the southern part of Florence County planning to attend either Coastal Carolina University or Francis Marion University were encouraged to apply.
The 2022 Key Scholarship award winners are: Johnsonville High School graduate, Braydin Moore, and HCS Early College High School graduate, Mar'Teona Singleton. This fall, Moore plans to attend Coastal Carolina University (CCU) and major in Biology. Singleton also plans to attend CCU to major in Mangement.

On the May Living Local Carolina Financial Friday Community Panel, Brand Ambassador, August was joined by special guests Jess Wnuk, Executive Director of the Grand Strand Humane Society and Lindsey Rankin, President of the Humane Societies Board of Directors. During this segment, August and our guests talked about summer pet safety tips, adoption and how you can get involved.

CUNA Youth Month Winners
Congratulations to Fred, Drew, and Nash for being selected as our CUNA Youth Month winners.
To be entered into our CUNA Youth Month contest, Goal Club accountholders had to make at least a $25 deposit in their Goal Club Youth Savings Account during the month of April. Each winner received an astronomy kit and a $100 savings deposit.
This year's CUNA Youth Month theme was, “Save Small. Dream Big. at your credit union™, and one day you may have enough to fulfill a financial dream! ” This theme made saving for the future fun and encouraged younger members to create financial dreams and work hard to see them through.
