Carolina Trust Federal Credit Union is pleased to welcome Christy Bales to the position of Senior Symitar Business Systems Analyst.
Christy comes to Carolina Trust with over 27 years of Information Technology experience in the credit union industry and has held several different roles, most recently as a System Analyst.
She is looking forward to bringing her extensive Information Technology knowledge and experience to Carolina Trust and being an integral part of serving our Members and Team Members.

Our President/CEO, Chief Development Officer, and Brand Ambassador were proud to represent the credit union at the ribbon cutting for the the McLeod Health Center for Cancer Treatment and Research, the first comprehensive cancer center in Horry County.
NMB Woman's Club Purses with Purpose
Carolina Trust was a proud sponsor of the GFWC North Myrtle Beach Woman’s Club Purses with Purpose event, where a percentage of proceeds will be going towards organizations supporting, youth, children, and women as well as others facing hardships in our community. A portion of the proceeds is specifically designated to domestic violence initiatives and scholarships for North Myrtle Beach High School Seniors.
Employee Volunteering
Several of our employees spent their time volunteering at New Directions Shelter, where they made dinner for folks in our community.
McLeod Health Jockeys and Juleps
Hats off to McLeod Health for their wonderful derby themed event, Jockeys and Juleps. Carolina Trust was honored to be the Red Carpet sponsor for this event, where proceeds will benefit local healthcare at McLeod Health Seacoast, Loris and Carolina Forest.

The credit union is now offering a new feature for our CO-OP Shared Branching members called IDCheck. IDCheck validates out-of-state approved government-issued identification documents of members who visit a
CO-OP Shared Branch location.
Carolina Trust members may utilize this feature when visiting an out-of-state participating CO-OP shared branch. IDCheck is a secure and trusted way to verify your identity when performing a transaction.
