      Important Update About Pennies

The federal government has ended penny production, and the Federal Reserve is gradually reducing penny distribution as inventory declines. You may notice fewer pennies available in circulation.

      To support this transition:

      • When cashing checks, we will ask members to deposit any change into their accounts.
      • If you are a non‑member cashing a check that requires providing change, we may not be able to cash your check due to limited coin availability.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate this nationwide change.

      Reminders

Carolina Trust branches will be closed on Monday, October 12th in observance of Columbus Day. While our offices are closed, please take advantage of our online, mobile and ATM services, which will be open for business.

Digital Banking Access: Carolina Trust members may be asked occasionally to reset their digital banking password. As a reminder, Carolina Trust representatives will not request your account information through text or over the phone.
